Hi! I'm Lauren and I am New Fawn Photography.

I'm a wife, mum to two children and run my own photography business, I specialise in photographing newborns and young children based just 5 minutes from Caerelon in Newport, South Wales

I have years and years experience working with babies and children of all ages as a primary school teacher and left my role 18 months ago to pursue my dream of starting my own photography business. 

Parents ALWAYS mention that they are amazed at my patience when photographing newborns and children and I always say that once you've taught a class of 40 three year olds, photographing 1 or 2 children is a breeze!

I have undertaken a wealth of in person training with top photographers all over the UK to develop my knowledge and skills in lighting, posing and most importantly of all newborn safety.

In May this year I finally entered my first official photography competition at the national Newborn and Portrait Photography Show and was named as a finalist with 3 of my images in the top 5 scoring images in the Newcomer category (in business less than 2 years).

I was extremely proud to receive 2nd AND 3rd place awarded to me by the amazing Gary Hughes and Kelly Brown all the way from USA and Austrailia, what an experience!!

I absolutely love my job, capturing special moments in photos for parents to treasure forever is such a privilege and my favourite part of the job is the moment I get to share the edited images with parents. Their reactions make me feel extremely luck to do the job I do.
