What to expect.....
My pregnancy photoshoots are an amazing way capture memories of your pregnancy, one of the most precious times of your life. The shoot lasts approximately 60 minutes and includes time for dress changes.
I have a choice of dresses and colour fabrics and scarves for client use and we can discuss preferences before your session to ensure we get the images you want. My studio is based in Newport, South Wales and is easily accessible from Bristol, Chepstow and Cardiff areas too, just 5 minutes from the M4 motorway..
When to book...
Most people book their pregnancy photoshoot between 12 and 24 weeks into their pregnancy. I tend to get booked up a few months in advance so always recommend booking your date asap after your 12 weeks scan.
Pregnancy photoshoots are best done between 28 and 34 weeks gestations if possible though I do offer sessions earlier sessions on occasions such as for twin pregnancies or when bump is particularly big earlier on in the pregnancy.
Pregnancy shoots usually take place Monday to Friday and usually start at either 10:30am or 1pm with the majority choosing 1pm sessions to allow them to book hair and make up on the morning of their session. .

Pricing
My maternity photography shoots are £45.
This includes:
A pre-shoot consultation via email, telephone or zoom
A photo shoot lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes
Use of beautiful maternity dresses, props and styling.
An 'in person' viewing appointment in the studio
Approximately 14 days after your photo shoot you'll be invited back to the studio to view a gallery of 10 fully edited images from your session, you'll then purchase one of the 2 packages below depending on how many images you'd like from the gallery.

Where exactly is your studio?
My photography studio is very close to the center on Newport, on Corporation Road. It is just 5 minutes from Junction 26 of the M4 so easily accessible from Chepstow, Monnmouth and Cardff. I regularly have clients travel to me from all over South Wales and Bristol.
Who can be in the photos?
Partners are welcome to attend the photoshoot and can be included in a few of the photos if wanted. If you have other children we can also include children too. Please let me know ahead of your session if you have children you would like included to I can plan this into your session.
Can I choose the dresses for my photoshoot ?
Of course, you are able to see most dresses in the images on my website and social media but I have all my dresses out ready for when you arrive so you can look at each once and decide which to go for. Many ladies also choose to have implied nude photos using materials and scarves to cover themselves. If would like to include these types of shots I provide the materials and pose you to ensure the images are beautiful and tadteful.
I'm not very confident and will be nervous, is this ok?
Yes, as a woman I fully understand we all have our own insecurities, my job is to make you feel confortable and to pose you so ensure we get the best photos from your session. I';m sure all ladies are a little nervous on arrival but all leave feeling amazing and empowered after their photoshoot.
