What to expect.....
My Christmas Mini Shoots are fun filled sessions to capture some beautiful Christmas themed images of your child. I'm currently in the process of producing the official photos for my 2025 set ups but I'm able to share some sneak peaks of the backdrop in the meantime.
A 20 minute sessions includes a mini shoot on 2 different Christmas themed backgrounds, both new for 2025! The first backdrop is a beautiful indoor scene with fireplace, decorations and trees set in a log cabin with glimpses of snow through the window (see image below). The second a beautiful snowy rustic outdoor scene with trees, wreaths and lanterns (see image above) which I can't wait to use! Photos of the backdrops in use will be available very soon. My shoots also include an image on ONE of my amazing digital backdrops too! These digital backdrops make for a truly magical image!
What's a digital backdrop?
A digital backdrop is a beautiful backdrop that your child is edited onto, my windowsill and snow globe images are examples of my popular digital backdrops (please scroll down to the bottom of this website for examples of my digital backdrops). For these photos I photograph your child or children on a plain coloured background and edit them into the digital backdrop later. You choose which one of these you'd like your child photographed for on the day.
When to book...
NOW!! My Christmas Mini shoots usually sell out in the first few days, last year I added multiple extra dates due to high demand which all sold out very quickly.
Booking is easy, just click the link at the bottom of the page to be taken to my booking page with all available slots to book. Simply select your date and add to your basket, then check out. Once you've booked you'll receive an email with links to book your optional upgrades (see below for upgrade options).
Payment is required to confirm the booking, I'm not able to hold any slots without payment I'm afraid.
Payments are non refundable and sessions non transferable, please only book a date you can definitely attend.

With the costs of so many things rising I'm pleased to be able to offer a few different ways to pay or spread the cost of booking your mini shot this year. You can of course pay in full if wanted, alternatively you can use PayPal Credit or even PayPal Pay in 3 (3 monthly interest free payments)!
Where is my studio?
My studio is in Newport, South Wales.
Parking is available outside the studio.

This year I am offering sessions in October, this allows time for editing and for you to purchase any images wanted in time for you to order gifts, card etc for your loved ones in plenty of time for Christmas.

Pricing

Two beautiful 6x8 mounted prints are included in the package
(to be chosen from an online viewing gallery of approximately 8 to 14 images)

These session are suitable for children and babies that are able to sit independently (usually 6 months +). If you'd like parents include in some of the images please see the upgrade options below.
Session payments are non refundable and non transferable, please make sure the date is suitable before booking, bookings cannot be switched when new dates may released in the future.
Digital images can be purchased separately from the online viewing gallery, prices for digital images are listed below under the 'packages' section.
Optional Extras...
This year there are some optional extras available that you can add on to your session, these are as follows:
Parents Included £10
If parents would like to get in on the action this year we're including the option of parents being in a few of the photos too!
With this optional extra we'll include parents in the photoshoot on both the fireplace and bed set ups.
(not applicable to digital backdrops, these are only suitable for children)
Additional Digital Backdrop with extra print £15
Can't choose just one of our amazing magical digital backdrops?
You can add a second to be included in your session for just £15 which includes an extra 6x8 print too!
Please add your optional extras wanted to your basket when booking your session or they can be purchased separately at a later date as long as its before the day of your shoot.
After the shoot...
You will view the images in an online gallery sent to you approximately 3 weeks after the session, you will select your 2 prints from the online gallery.
The online gallery will contain 8 to 14 edited images to choose from (exact number of images in the gallery is dependent on the children on the day). Additional prints and/or digital images can be purchased separately
from the online gallery after your session if you wish by purchasing one of the packages below.

For those that want to purchase the digital images from their viewing gallery there will be 2 options available this year as I'm offering a second slightly larger package with extra images.
Purchasing a package is optional, you do not need to decide or make any package payments until you see the online viewing gallery.
