These days everyone seems to know about newborn photoshoots and the ever popular cake smash photoshoots....but I get asked all the time about my sitter sessions, what are they? What age is best? What happens during the photoshoot?
The name says it all when it comes to sitter sessions, these fab, fun photo shoots are designed specifically for babies who are sitting independent until they are crawling. It's such a brilliant age to photograph a child and these sessions are a personal favourite of mine, it's easy to see why when you look at the photos from a recent sitter session with Charlie.
Typical sitter sessions with me consist of three different colour set ups which I discuss with parents the week before their shoot. The focus of these photo shoots is the child and only the child and we usually capture a perfect mix of facial expressions from the serious to the smiley.

Maddy Rogers, an amazing photographer of Maddy Rogers Photography in Grimsby, is always an inspiration to me and I just love her sitter sessions. This week she's written a great blog about sibling and baby shots, you can read her latest blog here.
